Terms and Conditions

1. Scope

These terms and conditions apply to the products and services offered by Jurek Barth, especially DPP Document Manager and related subscription services.

2. Services

DPP Document Manager is document management software with synchronization, search, and subscription-based features. Parts of the product may run locally on a macOS device, while cloud features may provide storage, sync, and web access.

3. In-app purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions may be processed through Apple and RevenueCat. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to the applicable terms of Apple and any payment provider involved in the transaction.

4. Subscription terms

Subscriptions renew automatically for the agreed billing period unless cancelled in time. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the applicable subscription management flow. Access to paid features continues until the end of the active billing period unless otherwise stated.

5. Consumer rights

Consumers in the EU may have statutory rights, including withdrawal rights where applicable. Refund handling for App Store purchases is subject to Apple’s policies.

6. Hosting and infrastructure

DPP Document Manager may be offered as a hosted cloud service or in self-hosted setups. In a self-hosted environment, the operator is responsible for infrastructure security, updates, backups, and availability.

7. Availability and liability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages except where mandatory law provides otherwise. To the extent permitted by law, liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the affected service period.

8. Storage limits and fair use

Subscription plans may include storage, workspace, member, or feature limits. If a plan limit is reached, uploads or certain premium features may be restricted until the plan is upgraded or usage is reduced.

9. Account termination

You may cancel subscriptions and request account deletion at any time. After termination, access to paid features may end immediately or at the end of the current billing period, depending on the billing channel. We may suspend accounts in cases of abuse, fraud, or material violations of these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the product after an update may constitute acceptance of the revised terms, subject to applicable law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by German law, excluding mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your country of residence.
