Privacy Policy
DPP Document Manager
This privacy policy applies to DPP Document Manager, including the web app and the macOS client.
How DPP handles data
DPP is built for document management with local-first processing. Depending on the feature you use, documents may be processed locally on your Mac and then synchronized to the DPP cloud workspace so they can be searched and viewed online.
Data we process
We may process account information such as your email address, uploaded documents and previews, extracted document metadata, billing and entitlement information, and basic operational logs that are required to run the service securely and reliably.
Local document processing
The macOS app may analyze files locally on your device before syncing results to the cloud. This can include OCR, classification, tagging suggestions, and metadata extraction. Local processing behavior can vary depending on the model and workflow enabled in the app.
Cloud storage and infrastructure
Synced files, previews, and related metadata may be stored using infrastructure providers such as Supabase, Cloudflare, and Vercel. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
Billing
Subscriptions and in-app purchases may be handled through Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Account deletion
You can request deletion of your DPP account from inside the application. Deleting an account removes associated app data and access, subject to any technical, contractual, or legal retention requirements.
Server logs
When you use the web app, technical server logs may be processed automatically, for example request time, route, response status, and related operational metadata. These logs are used for reliability, abuse prevention, and security.
Third-party services
If you connect third-party services, such as email providers, DPP may process the data necessary to provide that integration. The exact data depends on the feature you enable.
Your rights
If you are located in a jurisdiction that grants privacy rights, including under the GDPR, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of your personal data, subject to applicable law.
